Night life
Ciao tutti, buongiorno, wat was het toch weer een prachtige dag vandaag (what a great day).
Today started with people emerging from their capsules to start their day. Some were happier than others, as some have spent all their happiness at the all you can drink boat the day before. The group that emerged on time made a visit to the imperial palace gardens and tried their hardest to get a glimpse of the imperial palace. However, the palace was quite shy and only shows its face twice a year. In an effort to get a glimpse through the trees the group ended up at a war memorial where Japan honors all Japanese war victims. A different group went straight to the new hostel where all Japies reunited for the rest of the day.
Once everyone was checked in and had filled their stomachs with lunch we headed to the museum TeamLabs Planets for an interactive, Instagrammable zen experience. In the museum people could play with water, colourful balls and pretty lights to make every room an artwork. Words can not do justice to the views that were created, so be sure to look at all the photos!
Next up, D-D-D-D-D-Dinsney Sea! All Japies were excited to explore the magic that could be found in this park. In this park we could explore the wonders of the center of the earth, we assisted Indiana Jones in his journey through the temple of the crystal skull, we went under the sea to explore the home of Ariel, the American among us got very patriotic at Toy Story Mania where he could practice his shooting.
Sander and David were not allowed in the Raging Spirits ride due to their non-Asian physique (they where too tall), and a lot of Japies went into the cursed elevator of the Tower of Terror, where some got a nice view of the fireworks at the top of the tower :0. A couple of Japies made some small Japanese friends followed them through the entire park. After closing time some got a nice souvenir to remember the day by, or to relive childhood memories.
After a tiring day everyone left for the hostel for their first night in the last(!) hostel of the study tour :(.
