The day began just after midnight with a celebration of Sabine’s birthday at a karaoke bar. One of the highlights of the evening was Albert and Sabine’s performance of Jolie, which quickly became a memorable moment for the whole group.

After a short night, we enjoyed our final breakfast in São Paulo before boarding the bus to the airport at 8:20 a.m. Our flight brought us to Foz do Iguaçu, where we landed around 2:00 p.m. There was no time to waste: after dropping off our luggage at the hotel, we hurried straight to the Brazilian side of Iguaçu National Park before the entrance closed at 4:30 p.m. We arrived just in time and were rewarded with breathtaking views of the famous waterfalls. Although our visit was relatively short, as the park closes at 6:00 p.m., the spectacular views made every minute worthwhile. Seeing the immense power and beauty of the falls was an unforgettable experience and a perfect introduction to one of the world’s most impressive natural wonders. After returning to the hotel, everyone checked in and finally had some time to relax. To end the day, part of the group enjoyed dinner at the hotel, while others crossed the border into Paraguay for an evening meal and a chance to experience yet another country.
